I can’t decide whether I like these articles better when they discuss something I’m familiar with and can relate to, or something new that I can go away and check out. This was the latter. It’s very funny and, you’re absolutely right, timeless despite its specificity. I can see how it would appeal to all ages - if you are introduced to it at the right moment. I suspect my teenagers would have little time for it, sadly. Still, I’m a little wistful for a life where I might have grown up listening to this myself.
